A Celebration of British Motoring

The Mitty was born from the passion of the British sports car community, and for its 49th running, Historic Sportscar Racing is inviting British car clubs from throughout the Southeast and across North America to help us celebrate that heritage.

The goal is simple: To make The Mitty 2027 a destination gathering for British car enthusiasts — whether they come to race, display their cars, participate with their club, or simply enjoy one of America’s great historic motorsport weekends.

To help participating clubs make The Mitty a featured event on their 2027 calendars, HSR is developing a special package of benefits exclusively for recognized British car clubs and their members.

PARTICIPATING CLUB BENEFITS

Preferred Club Ticket Pricing
Special discounted event admission available to members of participating British car clubs.   (10 percent discount on one, two-day and weekend ticket prices)

Reserved British Car Corral Parking
Dedicated parking areas for participating clubs within The Mitty’s British Motoring gathering, allowing members to park together and showcase their cars.

Saturday & Sunday Track Lapping
Opportunities for participating club members to experience Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta from behind the wheel of their own British automobiles during scheduled touring-lap sessions.

British Motoring Seminars & Tech Talks (pending)
Complimentary access to HSR and British-motoring seminars, technical presentations, heritage discussions and participating partner product demonstrations throughout the weekend.

Club Hospitality & Gathering Space
Opportunities for participating clubs to establish a club presence within the British Motoring area, including club signage and space for a club tent or membership display, subject to availability.

Featured British Automobile Displays
Selected historically significant, unusual or exceptional automobiles from participating clubs may be invited to take part in special Mitty British automobile displays.

Club Recognition
Participating clubs will be recognized through appropriate Mitty communications, weekend announcements and British Motoring activities, with opportunities for club participation awards and special recognition.

Official Mitty Club Promotional Package
HSR will provide participating clubs with event graphics, promotional copy, ticket information and other materials that can be easily incorporated into club websites, newsletters, email communications and social media.

ALL-BRITISH SATURDAY NIGHT CELEBRATION (pending)

HSR is working to create a special Saturday evening gathering bringing together competitors, car clubs, industry partners and members of the British motoring community.

Subject to final program and partner support, participating clubs may receive a limited number of complimentary VIP invitations to this special event.

HSR is exploring an All-British Track Gathering & Official Mitty Photograph, bringing together British automobiles and participating clubs on the legendary Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta circuit for what we hope will become the signature image of The Mitty 2027.
